This is the first special set of the Scarlet & Violet Era for the Pokemon Trading Card Game. Since it was the first time the original Kanto Pokemon have been printed together since the Base Set (not to be confused with Scarlet & Violet's Base Set), this set appealed to both established and new collectors.
